The SurCode for Dolby Digital 5.1 surround encoder plug–in for Adobe’s Premier Pro is built into the Adobe Premiere Pro digital video editor. The SurCode for Dolby Digital encoder is included as a Trial Version that is tightly integrated into Premiere Pro’s Media Encoder. SurCode for Dolby Digital Premier Encoder Plug–in: Windows Mac OS

The release of Adobe’s Premiere Pro with SurCode for Dolby Digital enables video and audio editors to seamlessly access the full set of professional Dolby Digital encoder options. From right within the application, 5.1 Dolby Digital streams can be encoded directly within the surround mixing environment and included in your DVD authoring project. The trial version allows you to perform three encodes before activation is required. At a great price, this is an easy entry into full featured DVD title creation.

To Activate SurCode for Dolby Digital in Adobe Premiere Pro:

SurCode is available for both Mac and Windows Premiere Pro versions. Windows Vista users need to be a user with full Windows Administrator User privileges and open Premiere Pro by right clicking on the Premiere Pro icon/.exe and selecting "Run program as Administrator"…

1. Open a Project in Adobe Premiere Pro that has an audio track in the Timeline, or create one.
2. Pull down the “File” menu and select “Export,” then “Adobe Media Encoder.” This opens the “Transcode Settings” window.
3. In the “Format” pull-down menu, select either MPEG2 or MPEG2-DVD.
4. Under “Summary,” select “Audio.”
5. In the “Codec” pull-down menu, select “SurCode for Dolby Digital.”

Notes for DDPP Challenge and Response Authorizations

  1. There isn’t a serial number assigned to your SurCode license. It is registered to a NAME, so when reactivating please be sure to fill out the registration form with the name of the original person that registered the product.
  2. Notes for Windows 7 and Vista Users: Windows has added extra levels of security for Windows 7 and Vista. In order to get a valid system code you will need to first be running Windows as an Administrator, as well as Adobe Premiere.
  3. You can do so by right clicking on your Adobe Premiere icon or .exe and selecting Run Program as Administrator. After this is done you will be able to get a valid system code to register.
