SurCode for Dolby E Encoder plug-in encodes Dolby E files from discrete PCM in a convenient plug-in format. SurCode for Dolby E Encoder is the perfect way to integrate Dolby E into existing workflows on different audio workstations, in different studios and in various formats.

SurCode for Dolby E Encoder provides encoding of up to eight channels of audio, with a variety of user selectable program configurations. These range from 5.1 and stereo to four independent stereo or eight mono channels. This includes full input of Dolby E and program metadata, all via a simple user interface.

SurCode for Dolby E Encoder and Pro Tools: Windows MAc OS

SurCode for Dolby E Decoder plug-in appears in the ”AudioSuite” menu with all other AudioSuite plug-ins and will encode your audio in sync with the Pro Tools timeline. It’s as simple as selecting a file or part of a file in Pro Tools, going to the ”AudioSuite” menu and select the encoder. Enter your metadata, hit encode, and watch the progress meter.

iLok Activation

How to Activate your license:

  1. This product requires an USB dongle called ‘iLok’ for copy protection. In case you do not yet have an iLok, you can purchase one directly on our website or at ilok.com.
  2. You would then need to go to ilok.com and create an iLok account.
  3. The next step is to register your license with us. You will need your serial number, your iLok Account Name and your contact details.
  4. Your license will be generated within one business day and you will receive a confirmation email.
  5. Log in into ilok.com and transfer the licenses to your iLok USB dongle.
  6. Your dongle needs to be plugged in in order to use this product.*

*Your license can be moved from one to another workstation by simply taking the iLok with you.
