SurCode for Dolby E and Pro Tools: Windows MAc OS RTAS

Playing back your files through an external decoder just to capture your audio back to a file is simply inefficient and time consuming. The Dolby E decoder plug-in appears in the insert chain on your channel strip with all other RTAS plug-ins and will decode your audio in sync with the Pro Tools timeline. It’s as simple as a single click to drop SurCode for Dolby E Decoder into your Pro Tools mixer and select a Dolby E file. In a single pass, decode all 8 channels of a Dolby E stream in Pro Tools!

SurCode for Dolby E and AudioTools AWE: Mac OS

As a complete standalone solution, AudioTools AWE offers unparalleled flexibility with a streamlined workflow by decoding one, hundreds, or even thousands of Dolby E Files in one pass. Automate SurCode for Dolby E Decoder by using AWE’s “Hot Folder” feature. A Dolby E file dropped in your hot folder will instantly be decoded, processed through your choice of AWE or VST or external processors, and could even be re-encoded to Dolby Digital — all automatically. While the Pro Tools plug-in allows integrated access to Dolby E files, the AudioTools AWE plug–in has been designed to offload and automate workflow from the DAW.
