 The SurCode Encoder for DTS-HD for Compressor is a professional audio encoder plug-in for Apple Compressor 3, capable of producing encoded streams directly from Apple Final Cut Studio and Logic Studio. The encoder plug-in can create a wide variety of .dtshd encode types, from lossless DTS-HD Master Audio™ found on hundreds of Blu-ray Disc titles, to lower bit rate DTS Express™, a widely used Bonus View and BD live codec. It can also encode DTS-HD High Resolution Audio™ and DTS Digital Surround® bitstreams at sample rates of 48 kHz and up to 6.1 channels.
In addition to Blu-ray Disc, SurCode Encoder for DTS-HD for Compressor can also be used to produce DVD compatible .cpt files at up to 96 kHz with DTS 96/24 or up to 6.1 discrete channels with DTS-ES™. For those working with surround music, SurCode Encoder for DTS-HD for Compressor can create 5.1 DTS .wav files for DTS Music Discs, which can be burned on a standard CD-R for playback on any DTS compatible system. Utilizing the capabilities of Compressor 3, the Encoder plug-in can deliver multiple DTS encoded stream types for batch processing to local drives or across networks.

SurCode™ Decoder for DTS-HD™ for QuickTime®: 
 The SurCode Decoder for DTS-HD for QuickTime offers QuickTime users the ability to playback DTS stream types for quality control and sync check prior to disc authoring. All encoded DTS file types can be played back, from DTS-HD Master Audio to DTS Express, utilizing the easy-to-use QuickTime Player application. SurCode Decoder for DTS-HD for QuickTime is included with every license of SurCode Encoder for DTS-HD for Compressor, and is also available for purchase separately.
